FULL MOON “SuperMoon” in Capricorn is occurring two days after the Solstice! We must keep on truckin >>> developing our Inner Strength >>>Feeling our truth >>>and expanding our perceptions. Here are the MYSTIC MAMMA Astral Insights from the most tapped in readers of the planetary bodies…
First from the wise Cathy Pagano from her Wisdom of Astrology:
“This Capricorn Full Moon is the second of three SuperMoons, so-called because the Moon is at perigee (it’s closest to Earth) and syzygy (it’s in alignment with the Sun), intensifying its effect on the Earth and on humans.  The full Moon’s energy is also amplified by it occurring so close to the Solstice.”
“…There is hope that the most positive energies will be invoked during this Capricorn/ Cancer full Moon because the planets form a unique pattern in the sky.  That aspect is called a kite…”
“The kite is very dynamic, and often indicates success (those positive energies)..This kite is comprised of our water grand trine—Sun in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces—plus the Capricorn Moon.  A water grand trine seeks tranquility and peaceful exchange.   It opens us to the subtle energies of the unconscious and to our feelings.   We become more psychic because we’re attuned to the emotional flow around us.”
“The Sun in Cancer seeks a stable emotional body, one that is capable of giving and receiving love.  This Sun consciously supports Saturn’s task of cleaning up our Scorpio’s tendency to hang onto negative feelings and brood about them.  Choice becomes possible if we trust our real feelings. Then we add Neptune in Pisces to the mix, which opens us to spiritual potentials and visions that can heal our beliefs about ourselves and each other.”
“This grand trine can help us align our feelings with our soul’s mission and open us to a new story that will help us confront the financial, political and environmental issues facing us.  The Capricorn Moon then will pick up on our needs and our visions and find ways to get us the support and nurturing we need for our projects.”
“Anyone with planets in the early degrees of water signs and Capricorn will be especially attuned to this full Moon…”Â

From the always amazing and inspiring Kelley Rosano:
“The earthy Capricorn Full Moon on June 23 awakens the need to build your inner strength and security. The stronger you are on the inside the more you can achieve in the world. The Capricorn Full Moon requires you to become stronger in the face of chaos and confusion. On the one hand, the Capricorn Full Moon can promote your plans, projects and initiatives. You can be motivated to achieve your goals. On the other hand, if you do not have a reservoir of time and energy. You may not feel ambitious. You may feel overwhelmed and tired. Your best strategy would be to rest and restore.”
“This Capricorn Full Moon is more than going inward (Cancer) and taking on the world (Capricorn). Spiritual Neptune is a forming a rare Grand Water Trine to make it real Saturn, the Sun and the Moon. This illuminates both your personal and public needs to serve Creator. You can make your dreams real. You are to align your vision with your current reality. You are a great spiritual being having a human experience. You are in life to do more than build safety and security. You are on Earth for your soul evolution. This means you are to expand consciousness. You are to raise our vibration. You are to live from your heart and in joy–enjoy.”
“Saturn is Capricorn’s ruling planet. Saturn is in a supportive relationship to the Full Moon. You will feel self-disciplined to get things done. You will want to take care of business. You can balance your emotional needs with your sense of duty and obligation. For instance, you are aware of your feelings. Yet, you do not allow them to overwhelm you. You can be careful and thorough in your approach to any kind of work now. You may feel ambitious, efficient and patient.”
“…The key phrase that describes the Sun in Cancer is “I Feel.†The Sun in Cancer encourages your nurturance, protectiveness and sociability. The dark side of Cancer is being moody, emotional and argumentative. However, Saturn in supportive relationship with the Sun can empower you to work through your serious issues and any situations you need to confront. Saturn gives you the strength to deal with difficult people. Perception is everything. Look at what you have instead of what’s missing. See all that you are instead of what you’re not. Satisfaction can then be realized.”
“Jupiter is coupled with the Sun in Cancer at the Full Moon. Jupiter enters Cancer on June 25 and will be there until June 16, 2014. The presence of the giant planet of knowledge and understanding in this subjective sign is a signal for you to seek truth in your feelings. Jupiter in Cancer will expand your views, especially as you focus on women, family, food, and Nature. Jupiter represents faith and abundance. Jupiter’s dark side is prejudice and overindulgence. Jupiter in Cancer could take your emotions to the extreme. Yet feelings are neither right nor wrong. Feelings are your guidance system to reveal how you are responding to life.”
“…Anything you do to avoid your feelings is an escape…Thus, when you do not listen to your feelings, depression can emerge. But depression is not the enemy! Depression is your ally. Depression shows you that you are overlooking something very important.  Life is not about being happy all the time. There will be challenging cycles that require you to “face the music.†Feelings show you where you need to make changes. The body is your messenger.”
“…The Capricorn Full Moon is the second of three SuperMoons, when the Moon is both closest to the Earth and in a straight line with the Sun and Earth. That alignment makes this an extra powerful Full Moon. A few hours after the Full Moon, the Moon runs into powerful Pluto and unpredictable Uranus. Pluto teaches you about power. How you get power. How you keep power. How you give your power away. You are to own your power. You are to stand for yourself in a manner that is both definite and appropriate. Be open to make needed changes and to think differently. The cosmic message for the Capricorn Full Moon is that with hard work and discipline, you can make your dreams come true. You can be practical and have high ideals. However, you may need to make adjustments along the way. Be flexible. Be adaptable. Own your power. Build your strength.”

From the always wonderful Dipali Desai and her Celestial Space Astrology:
“Capricorn’s quality is ‘let’s get down to business’  and so we can ask ourselves ‘What do we really need become realistic about in our lives at this moment.? It is best to know the ‘Super Moon’ – Full Moon in Capricorn on June 23rd serves as an amplifier of sorts and helps us sort things out to be more organized with our emotional energy.”
“That which brings awareness. The full moon phase provides the precise insight into what was previously buried within the subconscious and the illuminating rays of the Moon’s light bring us in touch with what needs to be felt and expressed.“
“With clarity, there may be choices made at the time of the Full Moon in Capricorn. There is a configuration between Saturn in Scorpio-Rx/Neptune in Pisces-Rx and Sun in Cancer which tends to emphasis trust yourself to let the stuff emotions out and know all well be alright. Move with the rhythms rather than resisting things now.”
“The Full Moon in Capricorn adds a bit of down to earth, strength and stability to this formation. It can be highly useful energy to create healthy space for honest, intimate emotional expression within self or with another. Now is the time to choose what brings you joy rather than sink deeper into a dense feeling of duty or obligation which may generate really heavy emotions.”
“The key during the Full Moon in Capricorn is Spiritual alignment and greater joy in the physical world.”
“There may be reactions to emotional or physical security and issues regarding safety and structure. And there is a great need to cultivate inner resolve or strength. Once the clogged up emotions come out, we can easily come into Spiritual alignment within. Know the burdens you carry. Are they yours to carry or someone else’s?”
“Let go of what is no longer your responsibility to hold onto. What is from your father? Mother? Grandparents? Let go what is not yours to carry forward, relieve yourself of the burden cast in motion from the ancestors.”
“During the Full Moon in Capricorn, it is possible that many may be juggling both professional and personal world or issues. Since Capricorn is a dynamic earth sign, it may be helpful to set realistic goals to help attain the desired result. Patience is everything right now.”

Gorgeous report from Pat Liles from The Power Path:
“We pass one of the most powerful points of the year at the Summer Solstice when the Sun reaches its most northern position and the days are at their longest in the northern hemisphere and shortest in the southern hemisphere. The solstice on June 20/21 marks the entry of the Sun into the sign of Cancer. We drop out of the mental orientation of Gemini, an air sign, and into the watery world of emotional intelligence, feeling, nurturing and support.“
“Cancer is about to receive one of the greatest gifts the solar system has to offer on June 25 which is Jupiter, the largest of all the planets, coming to stay in her sign for one year bringing the gifts of expansive energy, generosity, enthusiasm, optimism, opportunity, confidence, wisdom – what’s not to like?! All of this brought to our emotional bodies via Cancer, The Great Mother.”
“What will get expanded? Our focus on family, food (for our enjoyment, nourishment, and well being, as well as food politics), the feminine, our most basic security, fertility and birth, and the rituals accompanying both birth and death.”
“In fact, all the water signs have a heavy ambassador representing them. In 2011-12, slow-moving Neptune moved into its home sign of Pisces for 15 years where it hasn’t been since 1847 – 165 years ago. Qualities of compassion, intuition, spiritual guidance, unity, and expanded consciousness are only some of the areas to receive focus under Neptune’s influence.”
“Scorpio, the power water sign is hosting Saturn, our karmic teacher, for two and a half years through 2015, so we will experience challenges to upgrade our relationship with our personal power and capacity for intimacy with this placement. These water placements of three outer planets, Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn, are creating a beautiful Grand Trine in Water signs that will be active all of July. Creativity, sensuality and emotionality will be deeply accentuated through the water element.”
“Cancer is highly sensitive both to emotional tides and intuitive forces as well as to slights, criticisms, and rejections. Feelings can be hurt easily. Be aware and alert to the emotional nature of the time. The ease of the Grand Trine will make us want to fall back into our hammocks and just receive and enjoy what is – a major lesson in the feminine qualities of being and receiving is upon us at this time. And we have the opportunity to expand and strengthen our conscious relationship to the Web of Life that connects all living beings and the creative power that represents.”
“The sweet grace of the Grand Trine is not the only influence operating at this Moon. With our yearly Capricorn Full Moon, Saturn holds a powerful position as the ruling planet of the chart. Saturn is the voice and archetype of our practical, responsible nature devoid of glamour and frills. Saturn’s tools are restriction, limitation, discipline, frustration, delay and denial, hard work. But tools to what end? Saturn is the gatekeeper that grounds us to physical reality. He is the creator of containers allowing all that cosmic energy a place to manifest. Those containers take focus, discipline, and intent to create, and that’s what Saturn brings to this Grand Trine; Saturn is grounding it into physical reality. These are the steps that lead to bringing down ‘heaven on earth’.”
“So use Saturn to stay grounded and focused if the emotional energy gets too intense and is leaning toward overwhelming as it stretches your emotional body. With Saturn in Scorpio emotional fears will be excavated, vulnerabilities and sensitivities will be revealed especially in the areas Scorpio rules, sexuality, death, and other places where we need to let go into mystery, surrender our individuality and become one with another or something greater than our own egos.”
“With such emphasis on water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) you might feel the need to seek out a more objective perspective from a friend or healer for the unconscious feelings that are getting stimulated by the obstacles and lessons Saturn throws in your path to show you where you need to focus the will and bring some discipline into play.”
“Yes, in the background the Uranus-Pluto square is continuing to push us into evolutionary change and that is just the dynamic tension we need to direct this gift of watery, feminine emotional intelligence. What has been brought to the foreground at that December 2012 point is our deep impulse to evolve in consciousness and expand from a purely physical reality to a unified field of connection with a heart-centered relationship to creativity and Spirit.”
“You wouldn’t be reading this if you weren’t dedicated to your own and the planet’s continued evolution. So all together we are experiencing the growing pains and joys of being together at this incredible rarified time. Our dedication to something so much greater than our individual egos is receiving an awe-inspiring boost at this Solstice-Full Moon juncture.”
“And don’t discount the retrogrades…. Right now, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto and Chiron are all retrograde and Mercury in Cancer turns retrograde on June 26 until July 20. One can already feel the slowing down of movement of the fleet-footed, messenger planet, Mercury. Consequently, there is an emphasis on going within for balance and guidance.”

Definitely feeling the lead up to this… the last six months have really forced and at the same time gently nurtured my growth. The next six months are sure to be amazing and intense if we hold onto everything we have learnt recently and put it into practice! My 23rd birthday is on this full moon… if anyone has any information about the significance or importance of turning 23 on the 23rd, I would love to hear about it.
Peace, love and watery goodness at this powerful time xxx

On tuesday June 18th in my dream I saw the supermoon – of course I had no idea what I saw till I found about it today. More interestingly – I saw the moon rising on the sea – it was spectacular – I have never seen anything like this before. As I saw the moon rising from my guestroom which was all glass – no wall – I saw an airplane coming towards the glass which even surprised me more. Seeing the moon was a bit scary. Can anyone give me an idea about the symbolism – message of this dream? I had no idea that the full moon was on its way – nor it was a supermoon. Today I saw an image on TV and it was exactly what I saw in my dream.

Woah…don’t know if anyone will read this comment but today something happened that triggered a memory. I was in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico when I saw the full moon. It was crimson red. I had never seen the moon as such and thought I was dreaming. It was reflecting above the water, and was so large I felt as though it was a cardboard cutout hovering in my face. Several events happened around this. I was visited by a pregnant dragonfly in a cenote where it laid its eggs in my arm as I stood there meditating by a 1000 year old tree. I visited Chichen Itza and a torrential downpour occurred when I was there, something that hadn’t happened in awhile, the locals were joyous. I also went on a hike and found an abandoned temple. And I was blessed by a random shaman in a nearby town. I’m a pisces rising and capricorn moon. these were all significant events but I’m only remembering them now as I didn’t think anything of them at the time. Things have changed, my perception is different. I’m not sure what to think of my time during the full moon now, very strange occurrences.
