what is here before us

to the tremendous beauty

it pierces deeper
permeates wider

like water flowing
filling holes

making vessels
out of us

Venus has moved into Pisces 
and here is where
she loves to be

here is her place
of exaltation

here is where her shores
give way to the sea

in an endless courting dance 
of surrender, of giving in 
to the greater vastness 
that encompasses
the whole of us
